2008 Meritage

The Meritage 2008 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (52%) and Merlot (48%). The lots were fermented and aged separately in French oak for 13 months prior to blending. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides the structure and depth of this wine while the Merlot highlights the aromatics and softens the wine. The Meritage 2008 delivers aromas of cherry, red currants, smoke and oak. The mid-palate is soft and supple with concentrated flavors of red fruits, plum, cola and spice. The wine's structure delivers a long balanced finish. 45 cases produced.
